Charalampos Kouris, Ph.D. Ch. Eng.

He graduated from the Chemical Engineering Dept. of the University of Patras in 1994 completing his thesis on "Computational simulation of microorganism growth in a CSTR reactor array in the presence of multiple nutrient substrates".
He did his military services from 1994 to 1995.
He completed his doctoral thesis (1995-2000) in the Computational Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of the Chemical Engineering Dept. of the University of Patras in the field of "Linear Stability Analysis and Nonlinear Two-Phase Flow Dynamics".

He worked from 2000 to 2004 as Process Control Engineer in HYPERION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING LTD based in Cyprus.

He has been working in HERACLES G.C.Co. (member of LAFARGEHOLCIM group) since 2004.

From 2004 till 2012 he worked in Halkis cement plant, undertaking various duties as production engineer, process manager, quality manager, processes & environment manager. From 2012 to 2016 he worked as Manager in the Hellenic Cement Research Center - EKET of HERACLES G.C.Co and from November 2016 till today he is working as Optimization Manager (Environment, Quality and Process) in Volos cement plant.
