Vasiliki Koidi

Vasiliki Koidi is a PhD student at the School of Science and Technology of the International Hellenic University and has been conducting her doctoral thesis since February 2019 in the frame of the CO22MeOH project at the Laboratory of Environmental Fuels-Biofuels and Hydrocarbons (LEFH) of CPERI/CERTH. The subject of her thesis is the intensified sorption enhanced methanol synthesis from CO2 with in-situ water removal.

She graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2017 with a diploma degree of 8.19. The subject of her undergraduate thesis was the development and evaluation of a catalytic stripper during the conduction of which she became familiar with various catalyst synthesis methods, material characterization techniques and operation of various instruments. From December 2017 to March 2018 she worked at the Aerosol and Particle Technology Laboratory (APTL) of CPERI/CERTH on a field similar to her thesis under a European funded project. In addition, she has research activity in the development of catalysts and processes for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol and has participated in 4 national and international conferences.
